My newest discovery in my quest for the perfect brow.
As a long time sufferer of fine, sparse brows I welcome any product that promises to shape and define them.
Over the years I have switched from brow pencils to matte eye shadows; however I have struggled to find something with staying power that doesn't smudge or make me look like I have two large caterpillars stapled to my forehead.
Introducing Soap & Glory's archery brow pen:
I was initially pulled in by the interesting double-ended pen concept. Apparently I'm a sucker for a 2-in-1 product and I'm not entirely sure why. Compared to other brow pencils, it only comes in two colours for blonde's and brunette's. However I think you could easily adjust the shade by applying different intensities.
Firstly, apply the brow tint pen over your brows in light, fluid movements, gradually covering each hair and following the natural shape of your brow. I think I could use this end on its own on lazy days to simply darken the hairs I already have without needing the precision pencil.
Then flip the pen round and use the precision pencil to make your brows look fuller. This works by focusing less on the brow hairs and more on the skin underneath. Remember to follow the natural shape of the brow and, if you want your brows to look thicker, work slightly more above the brow than below to avoid making the eye area look smaller.
So far I have really enjoyed using this product. It is the most natural, yet defined my eyebrows have ever looked and lasts all day without blending, smudging, or needing a touch up. The brow tint end means you can closely follow the shape of your natural eyebrows which I struggle to do with a pencil unless it is freshly sharpened, but even then I find the results too harsh. My only worry is that the pen, which is resemblant of a felt tip, will dry out sooner than the other end is used up.
Have you tried this product? Let me know what you think.
